Jonny Pierce of The Drums’ first solo track is here. It’s alright, but this mashup is rather nice.

I’m no proponent of mashups, but this Nas over Adolescents’ Kids of the Black Hole is the exception. The guy that brought you the Jaydiohead mashup, Max Tannone, released this (FREE) punk vs. rap album, Mic Check 1234.
The Hood Internet and Com Truise need no introduction to readers of this blog. While we’re not the biggest Lil Wayne fans in the world, this just goes to show anything Com Truise or The Hood Internet have their names on is well worth your time. This is going to be one of the bigger mashups of this summer. Mark our words.
The mashup duo known as The White Panda just dropped a 40 track mixtape today, cleverly titled “Pandamonium.” It’s available on their bandcamp allowing downloaders to name their price. Don’t be a cheap ass! All the tracks fall between one and two minutes. That’s the way mashups should be done, people! Download this and buy a t-shirt while you’re at it.
Texas’ Ross Edman, or Datahowler, is a solo electro outfit and his primary goal is to shoot you into a cosmic whirlwind–like the pre-movie introduction at Omnimax screenings, where you ascend thru amazing neon coloured spirals with that cool 80’s swoosh soundbyte. Anyway, lately he’s been pumping out gold, and for that, we give our thanks. Check his earlier mashups and recent productions here.
Our favorite mash up duo is back with their fifth mixtape. They’re putting it out for free (as always) here. Make sure to download any of their back catalog stuff from the same link if you don’t already have it. We highly recommend this for any future house parties, late night drink sessions, cocktail parties, or whatever the hell you’re into.
I’ve been listening to this remix for a minute. Check it out.
